I apologize for not posting in a while, as I have been busy working on wedding planning stuff. As the big day gets closer and closer, many of my poems may reflect wedding-related topics. I hope you enjoy them 🙂
Loyal, truthful teal,
magical, elegant gold –
love – wedding colors
Lace, blue silk, sparkle,
beautiful floral in hair,
elegant princess
I was visiting U.C. Davis the other day and learned of the Social Sciences and Humanities building, which students called “The Death Star” where many got lost and discouraged. I took some photos of the building and was inspired to write this haiku.
“Concrete” labyrinth,
a maze through humanities,
to be lost… in thought.

Nice day, birds chirping,
food in hand, visited by
fans, squirrel stardom
Limbs embracing sky,
embracing me, as I lie…
beneath her beauty.
Nature’s carved beach wood,
various shapes and sizes,
original art.
Like little soldiers,
they stand guard, watching, waiting
atop Duck’s Island.
Man-made connection
bridging beauty of two lands…
a walk of wonder.
She visits daily,
watching waves caress the shore,
a lovely goodbye.
Trains, they come and go,
People, they too, come and go,
Memories, they stay…
