Haiku #41
Fluttering her wings
seeking scent of sweet nectar
butterfly beauty
Haiku #40
Protected, yet free,
soles walk through an illusion,
echoes of the past
Haiku #39: Painted Dice Tower
A while back, my husband decided to make a dice tower using a wooden castle that we found at Michael’s. With a little bit of engineering, he created a functional tower. I had the honor of painting it.
This was the original, unaltered wooden castle birdhouse that we bought:
Painted Dice Tower
Plywood, x-acto knife,
painted lines, slabs of color,
castle comes to life.
This is the final result after engineering and painting:
Haiku #38
In the quiet night,
colors flow from her marker,
pictures come to life.

Haiku #37: Magic
My colorful friends

Floating on the lake,
raindrops on purple petals,
